This is a close-up macro shot of Shiva in the Natraj position, I believe it's called that.. I cannot entirely remember, possibly because it's 1:42am and I'm totally knackered.
Out of all the photos you took (with the exception of the one of me on the train which you turned into a devID,) I think this one is my favourite.
On the little screen of the camera it looked fantastic but seeing it at it's proper size shows the level of detail and the interesting angle. The warm hues and colours of the background and the statue itself mesh so well. The clarity on specific areas is what I adore - the hand and parts of the hand.
Well, I would say it's Shiva's blessing more than anything else ^_^ and you know how seriously I take that stuff so I'd really like to believe that if you try to capture an image of God, regardless of what you do with it, it'll come out beautifully.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
