I fear I'm becoming a recluse.. I hardly ever react to anything on here anymore - mostly due to the fact that I'm so stupidly busy most of the time that I only get a chance to glance at my message centre before I'm off again.

Anyway, the HQ Devmeet was fantastic. I realise it was aaages ago and I've yet to put up photos (which are already on facebook) but shall do it in due time. I saw some familiar faces which I haven't seen in about 4 years! It was good to catch up, and meet some new people too. I do love deviants - they're just my kind of crazy and geeky.

Then the following weeks became a little crazy. I'd organised a surprise birthday day for my best friend Tim, so took him for lunch at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, then we baked lavender cakes at mine, then went to see Chicago with JERRY SPRINGER :D :D :D in the evening. We even managed to meet Jerry after the show, get his autograph and a couple of photos with him :). Unfortunately, my ex-flatmate (I think it's appropriate to jump for joy at the ex, here) decided to lock us out which created a bit of drama but hell, she came off the worse for it.

The next day Tim and I went to the Taste Festival in Regents' Park. Lovely, lovely concepts for food and it was a really lovely day for it too... I thoroughly enjoyed myself and Tim did too :D

Following that was my graduation party on the Monday. The ex-flatmates tried to ruin it the night before by calling up my parents but I'd told my parents all about it months ago so Kirsty's plan fell flat on its face. She did threaten me with calling the police and had spouted a bunch of rubbish to the landlord. It was all in vain, though, as we all had a fantastic time, and when the guests left quietly, Lil had stupidly called the noise police and judging from the fact that nobody knocked on my door to question me, she probably got fined or at least told off for being a massive dickhead.

Then, Wednesday finally dawned and I received my degree result. The labour of three years came to a 2:1 and I'm very pleased with it. My dissertation feedback was brilliant and I'm going to start looking into getting it published in a couple of relevant journals.

I moved out of the hell hole on Thursday and did my fair bit of cleaning up after the witches (despite being struck down by flu), while they skipped off early with the box of mangoes our next door neighbour brought around for ALL of us... and only Kirsty knocked on my door, not to say goodbye but to tell me she'd cancelled the direct debit for our gas and electricity bills so I'd have to pay the entire lot. Thanks, bitch!

It all worked out in my favour in the end. They can keep the stinking mangoes - I settled all the contracts and received any settlement payments, so they can go screw themselves.

Moral of the story? Never move in with a bunch of Orcs.

Hello! I felt the urge to discuss sci-fi with you yesterday but the conversation side-tracked into gaming and I never had the opportunity! lol Was a pleasure nonetheless!
